Windows search indexer support would be nice however I believe it should be restricted to only "managed" devices either through domain joined/SCCM, or MDM management of the OS and not just made available to any OSE.

I would like to add the Sharepoint search indexer, eDiscovery Indexer and Delve to this suggestion. The reason that search doesn't index protected documents is because the documents are encrypted. I am not in a support to let search engines cache the content of protected documents for a long period of time.

If this is not possible, I see an easy workaround: there should be an alert after search: 'We found 21 protected documents, that are not indexed by Windows Search.'. (Instead of not showing them in the search results at all.)
