Hi. When you say Done, do you refer to the AIP app on ios that can only read protected documents? How about protecting or changing protection in the mobile app?

It's not a matter of prioritization, in our view Email and documents rank fairly close in priority. The reason for the order of the releases is that Mobile Outlook is in the middle of an architectural change (elimination of a middleware layer in Exchange Online and move to use REST interfaces for email processing) which is still in private preview. Once this middleware goes into public preview, so will email labeling.
For further discussion I recommend going to the Yammer forums as this forum is not suitable for discussions.

Any update on this? We can’t roll out rms to our customers without this basic requirement.

I would be great when this is available to the mobile clients as well for providing this seamless user experience across devices and platforms.

This is a very visible (c-suite) and important set of capabilities for our company. We really want to adopt RMS email encryption broadly. Note though that we're licensed for RMS protection-mode-only though, so please don't leave our configuration out of mind in your updates.

Please prioritize ability to act on AIP/Azure RMS protected messages in Outlook for iOS and Android -- at a minimum, it is critical for our users to be able to Reply to or Forward (if permissions allow) protected messages from their mobile device, even if the ability to Create or assign labels/protection on mobile devices comes later.

It would be great to be able to initiate a AIP secured email message from within Outlook on the IOS platform. This is a dealbreaker for us, stopping us from switching over to AIP.
